Musical Anniversaries

Two big musical anniversaires in the last two days.

Sunday, February 10th marked the 35th annivesrary of the release of Van Halen’s debut album. An album that would go on to sell more than 10 million copies. Check out a video clip of Runnin’ With The Devil

February 11 marks 50 years when the Beatles went into the studio and recorded their entire first album in one day. On purpose The Beatles waited until the end of the day to record Twist and Shout. Why? Because that song featured John Lennon shouting more than singing  and had it been sung earlier in the day, his voice would have been more strained.
