The Eagles on tour for 2013

The Eagles on tour for 2013

The Eagles have announced the first 11 shows of their History Of The Eagles tour.  The concerts are a tie-in to the band’s new career-spanning documentary, which will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on April 30th. The tour will kick off July 6th in Louisville, and additional shows are expected to be announced soon.  There has been speculation that co-founding lead guitarist Bernie Leadon will be joining Henley, Frey, Schmidt and Walsh for some of those shows.  These will be Leadon’s first Eagles gigs since 1975. Earlier this year Don Henley said, “(This tour) could very well be our last . . . we’re gonna include at least one former band member in this tour and kinda go back to the roots, and how we created some of these songs.  We’re gonna break it down to the fundamentals and then take it up to where it is now.”  For the full list of Eagles shows scheduled so far, click here.
