Coca-Cola recipe sells on eBay for $15 million

A man from Georgia has sold on eBay what he claims to be the recipe for Coca-Cola.  Cliff Kluge came across the recipe in some old boxes he bought from an estate sale about four years ago.  He said, “Whoever typed this letter had seen the original recipe. We believe it is definitely related to Coca-Cola.” A spokesman for Coke responded, “At least once a year, somebody shows up and says, ‘I have the original formula for Coca-Cola. How much do you want to pay me for it?’  We know he doesn’t have the formula. There is only one copy.”  The listing ended on Wednesday, May 15th, when an unknown buyer snapped it up for the Buy It Now price of $15 million.  Who got it?  Pepsi?  Will the buyer even pay for it?  Is this recipe “the real thing?”  You be the judge.  Click here to see the completed listing.
