Springsteen’s ‘American Beauty’ due out in April

Exactly one week following his April 12th concert at Farm Bureau Live in Virginia Beach, Bruce Springsteen will release a four-song vinyl EP called American Beauty, to coincide with Record Store Day.

Three of the songs on it, “Mary, Mary,” “Hey Blue Eyes,” and the title track, were recorded during the sessions for Springsteen’s latest album, the chart-topping High Hopes. There’s no word yet on a CD or digital release of the American Beauty tracks.

Coming out March 25th is the DVD / Blu-ray of the 2013 MusiCares Person of the Year concert, saluting Bruce Springsteen.  Among those paying tribute to The Boss are Elton John, Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Jackson Browne, Sting and Emmylou Harris, with Springsteen and the E Street band closing out the show.
