The end of Aerosmith albums?

Aerosmith’s Joey Kramer has hinted the band will never make another album because there is no money to be made from record sales.

The drummer insists the state of the modern music industry makes recording a new album financially pointless as the band would be responsible for funding the project.

Kramer says, “It would be great to make another record, but it’s almost ( like) ‘ Why bother?’ Records don’t sell and they don’t do anything. There’s no record companies to pay for it, so you have to pay for it out of your pocket. Especially with us now, because we’re a free agent — we’re no longer with a record company.”

Aerosmith released their 15th album Music From Another Dimension in 2012, but the record sold just 63,100 copies in its first week.
