Ozzy back with Black Sabbath rocked their new song “End of the Beginning” on the season finale of CSI.

Sure…Ozzy’s speech is slurred, blurred and confusing, but the man can still sing and Sabbath sounds great in a long overdue reunion.

Coca-Cola recipe sells on eBay for $15 million

A man from Georgia has sold on eBay what he claims to be the recipe for Coca-Cola. Cliff Kluge came across the recipe in some old boxes he bought from an estate sale about four years ago. He said, “Whoever typed this letter had seen the original recipe. We believe it is definitely related to Coca-Cola.” A spokesman for Coke responded, “At least once a year, somebody shows up and says, ‘I have the original formula for Coca-Cola. How much do you want to pay me for it?’ We know he doesn’t have the formula. There is only one copy.” The listing ended on Wednesday, May 15th, when an unknown buyer snapped it up for the Buy It Now price of $15 million. Who got it? Pepsi? Will the buyer even pay for it? If you haven’t seen the Harlem Shake videos by now, you missed out on a bit of a fun craze where people created short 30 seconds videos. The first 15 usually featured one person dancing while the others acted like normal, then the last 15 seconds were pretty crazy, here are some good examples.

A Beatle takes on the Grasshoppers

Paul McCartney has had some problems with insects. A giant swarm of leaping grasshoppers decided to get in on his show May 6th in Brazil. Those who attended say that there were so many grasshoppers swarming during the second stop on his Out There world tour, that they covered the stage at some points in the show. Being the animal lover he is, McCartney made a friend of one of the hoppers perched on his shoulder, calling him “Harold.” Paul McCartney continues his tour May 18th in Orlando, Florida.

How to enter and participate?

From 5/13/13 at 12:00am through 6/23/13 at 11:59pm, participants must go to 1069thefox.com and watch a Hampton Roads and Southside Harley Davidson commercial. At the end of the commercial, a keyword will be revealed. Entrants will text that keyword to 77000 to enter to win. A new keyword will be revealed each week.

1 additional entrant will be qualified to win on site at the finale on 6/29/13 from 11:00am to 12:45pm by coming to the event and filling out a registration slip. Must be present to enter.

Time and means of selection of winner (and/or tie breaking procedures)

1 entrant per week will be randomly chosen each Monday by a WAFX staffer starting 5/20/13 and ending 6/24/13. These 6 entrants will become Harley qualifiers and will be notified by phone. They will need to be present to win at the finale event on 6/29/13 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Southside Harley-Davidson, 385 N. Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23462. All qualifiers must sign in at the WAFX table and show photo ID by 12:30pm to be considered “present to win.”

At the finale, 1 final qualifier will be randomly chosen from all entrants by a WAFX staffer. This qualifier will be announced immediately and must be present to win.

Once all qualifiers have been identified and confirmed as “present to win,” a WAFX staffer will conduct a random drawing. The first qualifier whose name is drawn will point to 1 of 7 boxes on a table. A WAFX staffer will write that qualifier’s name on the box and the qualifier will be asked to stand in front of the box. This process will continue until all seven boxes have names on them. A WAFX staffer will ask each qualifier to open their boxes at the same time. The qualifier that is holding the box that contains the key to the Harley will be the winner.

Eligibility restrictions

WAFX contests are open to all eligible Virginia or North Carolina residents 21 or older who have not won anything WAFX in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of WAFX, Tidewater Communications, LLC, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the WAFX main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.

One entry per person per keyword. Participants may only qualify one time.

When prizes will be awarded

Prize will be available on 6/29/13 and will be awarded as soon as winner pays taxes and title and completes paperwork.
