106.9 The Fox - Hampton Road's Classic Rock

Wednesday Morning with John and Nikki...
We discovered that a Civil War veteran's widow died yesterday. Then we got confused, until we found out that the widow was 19 and her husband was in his 80s when they got married. We talked to other listeners about the age differences in their marriages.
Olympic organizers are trying to come up with different ways to beef up viewership of the games, such as trying to get table tennis players to wear short skirts. John and Producer Dave put together their own list of hot athletes who don't need to wear a skirt to get them to watch.
And, Listener Scott from Portsmouth phoned in this morning to tell us about getting dragged to last night's Jonas Brothers concert at the Verizon Wireless VA Beach Amphitheater. He gave us a review of the show and told us about some of the craziness that comes with going to one of these shows.
