ACCOUNTING MANAGER / BUSINESS MANAGER
Tidewater Communications T/A WNOR/WAFX/WJOI is seeking an Accounting Manager/Business Manager.
This full-time position, based in Chesapeake, Virginia, is for a full charge accounting person who is responsible for not only the financial reporting of the business but also all business aspects. Responsibilities include financial statement preparation including work papers and related schedules, G/L, A/P, A/R, payroll, budgeting, credit/collections, human resources, benefits administration, day-to-day management of customer service team (traffic director, billing manager, and receptionist). Qualified candidates must have a college degree with a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar accounting and decision-making position (broadcasting office experience preferred). Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP a plus.
Musts: able to function in a fast-paced and self-directed environment, be hyper-organized and flexible since must juggle a variety of duties, have analytical skills to interpret data and problem solve, strong computer skills with accurate data entry, detailed oriented, an excellent communicator who can work well with a variety of personalities and handle HR issues. You must also be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
