Mike Anthony

Mike Anthony was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia, and got involved in campus radio in 1976, while a freshman at Virginia Tech.  He began his 35 years as a full-time radio pro soon after.  He moved to The Peninsula in 1981, and has continued with on-air work here in Hampton Roads ever since.  We first heard Mike’s voice on WAFX in 1996, and he is known for his Afternoon Drive show on 106.9 The Fox.  He and his wife Mary Ann have been married 31 years and have two children together.  Mike’s interests include voice acting, writing, and helping charitable causes.
