Charlie Sheen received an unwelcome wake-up call in the early hours of Friday morning - he was told his car had been stolen, shortly before the vehicle was found at the foot of a cliff.
The actor alerted authorities after a security company linked to his sports utility vehicle (SUV) reported the car had been taken from outside his home in Los Angeles, leading to a police search.
The truck was found several hours later, crashed at the bottom of a steep cliff near the city's famous Mulholland Drive, according to TMZ.com.
Police have yet to apprehend a suspect. No further details were available as WENN went to press.
