So I was able to sneak down to Raleigh, NC after the Pre Plunge yesterday. What a great time. I met for the first time members of the Robert Plant Homepage community. I have known them for years but never met them before. Very nice people who all share the same passion of Plant and Zeppelin music.
As for the show. Robert opened the concert with Black Dog in an arrangement that was far from the fourth Led Zeppelin album then went into Down to the Sea from the Fate of Nations album, one of my favorite songs. Up next was Angel Dance from the new Band of Joy album. Other highlights of the night included performances of Houses of the Holy, which was sometime Zeppelin never performed live, Tall Cool One and my favorite from the new album Harm’s Swift Way. Plant also featured the very talented members of the Band of Joy. He is working with some pros on stage. This was a great road trip!
