1973 – Instead of traveling to Nigeria with Paul McCartney to record the band’s latest album “Band On The Run”, Henry McCullough and Denny Seiwell both quit the band Wings, forcing Paul, his wife Linda, and Denny Laine to record the album as a trio.

1979 – The Knack reached top of the Album Chart for the first and only time with their debut album “Get The Knack”. The album featured the hit “My Sharona“.

1999 – Kiss are awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

2002 – Bruce Springsteen hits number one on the Billboard 200 Album Chart for the sixth time with “The Rising“.
