1970 – The Doors’ Jim Morrison is arrested in Los Angeles for public drunkenness after he was found lying unconscious on a resident’s doorstep.
1975 – Robert Plant and his wife Maureen were hospitalized after a car accident on the Greek island of Rhodes. The accident forced the band to cancel an upcoming US tour. Plant ends up recording the bands Presence album from a wheelchair.
1980 – After taking a break for about five years, John Lennon and Yoko Ono begin recording their album “Double Fantasy” at New York’s Hit Factory Studio.
1984 – Phil Collins married girlfriend Jill Tavelman. During the reception, Collins would jam with Eric Clapton & Robert Plant. The couple would divorce in 1996.
