1969 – John Lennon gave his last live performance in England.
1973 – Aerosmith performs on American Bandstand for the first time when they play “Dream On”.
1977 – The Who perform a secret concert for fan club members at London’s Shepperton Studios. The show is films for an upcoming Who Documentary called “The Kids Are Alright”.
1992 – Nirvana releases “Incesticide”. It’s a collection of b-sides, demos & outtakes collection. The album was done to combat the bootlegs that have been released containing some of the same material.
2001 – Joe Walsh receives an honorary Doctorate of Music from Kent State University. Joe attended Kent State from 1965 through 1967.
