1973 – The Who and their entourage gets arrested and sent to jail after causing $6,000 worth of damage at a hotel in Montreal. hotel destruction inflicted after their show at the Forum. After the band spends six hours in jail, the band pays a $2,100 fine in return the hotel management does not press charges.
1972 – Steely Dan appears on the Billboard album charts for the first time with their debut album “Can’t Buy a Thrill”. The song makes it to #197.
