1973 – AC/DC perform their first concert at the Chequers Club in Sydney, Australia.
1984 – Def Leppard’s Rick Allen loses his left arm in a car accident. The arm is sewn back on, but is later removed three days later due to infection. Amazingly he continues with Def Leppard, using a computer and relying more on his feet.
1991 – Ted Nugent served 200 pounds of venison donated by the Michigan Sportsmen Against Hunger program at a Salvation Army in Detroit with the message “I kill it, you grill it.”
2003 – Rush’ s Alex Lifeson and his son are arrested at a Naples, FL hotel for allegedly assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest. Charges were dropped in 2005
2015 – Mötley Crüe performs their last concert, a New Year’s Eve concert in Los Angeles. The band reunited to tour in 2020.
