1990 – Billy Idol crashed his motorcycle and suffered serious injuries when he failed to stop at a stop sign and crashed into a car.
2001 – Eagles‘ guitarist Don Felder is fired from the Eagles as he’s told the band has “decided to go on without you.” Felder would sue Glen Frey and Don Henley for wrongful termination and Henley and Frey would countersue Felder for breach of contract, Both parties settled out-of-court.
2005 – Paul McCartney performed during the half-time show at Superbowl 39 in Jacksonville, Florida. It is reported that the former Beatle made $3.3 million for his 12 minute performance. Doing some quick math means he made $278,000 per minute.
2018 – Ozzy Osbourne announces his “final global tour” No More Tours 2 tour. It’s not the first time Ozzy retired from touring as his original No More Tours tour took place in 1992.
