1975: Cher files for divorce from Gregg Allman, 10 days after they married. They later reconcile.
1986: Grateful Dead leader Jerry Garcia goes into a diabetic coma, forcing the band to cancel the rest of their tour. He’s in the coma for five days, and during his recovery he has to learn how to walk and talk again.
2012: Slash, gets his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Charlie Sheen is master of ceremonies at the event, and comments, “It seems quite fitting that Slash is getting a star on the very street Axl Rose will one day be sleeping on.” Ouch
2016: Aerosmith’s Joe Perry suffers a cardiac arrest while performing with Alice Cooper and Johnny Depp, in Brooklyn, New York. He’s rushed to the hospital during show. He’ll make a full recovery a few days later and rejoin the tour.
