1969: Blind Faith, a group comprised of Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Ginger Baker and Ric Grech, release their self-titled debut album in the United States.

1981: Queen kicked off their final North American tour with Freddie Mercury at the Montreal Forum, in support of their album Hot Space.

1986: The Police began sessions to record the follow-up album to Synchronicity but soon abandon the sessions as Sting insisted on pursuing a solo career & acting interests.

1987: Guns N’ Roses released their landmark debut album Appetite for Destruction which would later spend five weeks on top of the Billboard 200 Album Chart & be certified eighteen times Platinum in September 2008.

1990 With a bevy of special guests, Roger Waters performs The Wall at the former site of the Berlin Wall, which came down eight months earlier.
