1968: The Yardbirds break up, Jimmy Page would then form The New Yardbirds, who would later become better known as Led Zeppelin.

1980: and speaking of Led Zeppelin, in 1980 they perform their last concert with their original lineup in West Berlin, Germany. The last song they perform is “Whole Lotta Love“.

1984: Bruce Springsteen Born in the USA tops the album chart for the first time. The album would spend seven non-consecutive weeks on top of the chart and go on to sell 15 million copies in the U.S.

1986: David Lee Roth released his first solo album Eat ‘Em and Smile which featured Steve Vai on guitar. Roth would later release a Spanish version of album titled Sonrisa Salvaje.

2006: Syd Barrett, founding member of Pink Floyd passes away at the age of 60.
