1987  – Bob Seger receives a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

1987 – Bryan Adams’ release of “Heat of the Night” was the first commercially cassette single in the U.S.

2002 – Sebastian Bach was arrested at a bar in New Jersey for threatening the life of a bartender and the patrons inside. He was charged with disorderly conduct. He was released the next day after posting bail.

2006 – Black Sabbath, Blondie, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, are among those inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
