1981 – Eric Clapton is forced to cancel a US tour after being admitted to a Minnesota Hospital after a serious attack of bleeding ulcers.

1982 – Metallica performed their first concert at Radio City in Anaheim, CA.

2005 – U2 and The Pretenders were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

2008 – Stone Temple Pilots announce they are reuniting for one final tour with their original lineup.

2011 – Alice Cooper, Tom Waits, Dr. John and Leon Russell are inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of fame.

2018 –  Bon Jovi earned an unusual distinction. Their album “This House Is Not for Sale” set a record for the biggest one week drop in the history of the Billboard 200 chart. The album was at the top of the album charts one week and then fell to #169 the next, ouch.
