1982 – Led Zeppelin released their final studio album “Coda”. It’s a collection of unused songs recorded before John Bonham’s passing in 1980.

1983 – Loverboy make their first appearance on “Saturday Night Live” where they perform “Working for the Weekend”.

1988 – Bon Jovi tops the Singles Chart for the third time with “Bad Medicine”.

1994 – Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers perform on “Saturday Night Live” with Dave Grohl on drums. Grohl was invited to become the bands full time drummer but turned it down to form a new band called the Foo Fighters.

1998 – Motley Crue opened their retail store “S’crue” in Los Angeles, and two months later the store closes.

2007 – Quiet Riots Kevin DuBrow dies at the of age 52.
