1973 – During a Who concert in San Fransisco, Keith Moon passes out at his drum kit.  The Who continue the show when they pull 19-year-old Scot Halpin from the audience. Scott fills in and plays the final three songs of The Who’s set. Rolling Stone names him their “Pick-Up Player Of The Year.”

1981 – AC/DC released their album “For Those About to Rock”, it was their first album to reach number one on the US album charts and has sold more than four million copies

1991 – The Rolling Stones sign a $45 Million record deal for three albums with Virgin Records. It’s the biggest recording contract at the time.

1994 – David Crosby received a liver transplant at UCLA’s Medical Center. Crosby was on the operating table for seven hours.
