1970 – Led Zeppelin release their only single from “Led Zeppelin 3”, The “Immigrant Song”.

1995 – A Benefit concert was held in New York featuring a stage performance of “The Wizard of Oz”. The show starred Roger Daltrey as The Tin Man and Jackson Browne as The Scarecrow.

1995 – Van Halen ended their tour in Hawaii, it was their last concert with Sammy Hagar until 2004 and four years later in 1999 Van Halen announces that lead singer Gary Cherone has left the band amicably.

2000 – The Who make an appearance in the Simpson’s Episode the “A Tale of Two Springfields” episode of The Simpsons. Although Pete Townshend didn’t voice himself because he was the impression that somebody else would, so his brother Paul provided the voice.
