1970 – Aerosmith perform their first-ever gig at a high school in Mendon, Massachusetts.

1976 – The Steve Miller Band’s “Rock ‘N’ Me” top the US singles Charts

1980 – The surviving members of Led Zeppelin met with manager Peter Grant to discuss the band’s future after John Bonham’s death. They make the decision to break up which they’ll announce the next month.

2014 – AC/DC’s drummer Phil Rudd is charged with “attempting to procure murder” in a New Zealand court. While the charges are dropped Rudd’s legal troubles forces AC/DC to replace him with guy who replaced him years ago Chris Slade.
