1999 – The Recording Industry Association of America declares the Beatles has the best-selling artist of the century with sales of 106 Million albums. Elton John’s 1997 “Candle In The Wind” is named the best-selling single while the best-selling album is the Eagles’ Greatest Hits 1971-1975.
