1991 – Legendary Rock concert promoter Bill Graham dies in a helicopter crash. Graham was the founder of the Fillmore theaters in San Francisco and New York. He also played a big part in many bands careers like The Who, The Jimi Hendrix Experience and The Rolling Stones.
1993 – Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder is on the cover of “Time” magazine, but he and Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain refused to speak with the magazine for a story about why young people are listening to such angry music.
2011 – Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler falls in a shower in Paraguay and loses 2 teeth the band reschedules their concert the following evening after a dentist repairs Steven’s teeth.
