1978: Keith Moon of The Who dies at age 32.

1987: Pink Floyd release their first album without Roger Water, “A Momentary Lapse of Reason”, which features David Gilmour doing most of the singing.

1997: Fleetwood Mac tops the album charts with their live album “The Dance”.

2003: Songwriting great, Warren Zevon, passes away at the age of 56.
