Rod’s Pro Picks 2025 official rules:
Rod’s Pro Picks is an online contest that will occur from 8/27/25 until the completion of the NFL regular season on 1/4/2026. Each week, one local entrant will win: a $25 Wild Wing Café gift card, Hardee’s coupons (ARV $10), and a pair of 3 hour Pro wristbands (Over 48”) for Motor World (ARV: $138). Total ARV: $173. Listeners from WNOR and WAFX will be competing for the same “local” prizes. At the end of the season, the entrant that earned the most points overall will win a prize valued at $250 consisting of consisting of concert/event tickets, gift cards, and/or other prizes. In case of a tie, see the Audience tiebreakers rules below. Pro Football Challenge 2025 Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. This Game May Not Be Used To Conduct, Advertise Or Promote Any Form Of Gambling.

  1. Promotional Period: The Game Period begins at the kickoff of the first 2025-26 regular season pro football game scheduled to take place on Thursday, September 4th, 2025 and ends with the completion of the regular season on Sunday, January 4th, 2026. Exact dates and times are subject to change. Entrants may register for this promotion and begin making their winning team choices at 12am Eastern time on 8/18/2025. The ability to pick a winner for each regular season game will cease at approximately 15 minutes before the kickoff of each individual game.
  • Eligibility: The Promotion is open to all legal residents of the U.S., 18 years of age or older, 19 years of age or older in AL, DE, and NE, and 21 years of age or older in MS, except employees of Audience, Participating Stations and other Sponsors (collectively, the “Promotion Entities”), other television or radio stations located in the same market as a Participating Station, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising or promotion partners (if any), and members of their immediate families or persons living in the same household.  This Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

  1.     The Pro Football Challenge may be conducted under various names by participating stations and entities.
  2. Entry Method: To enter this promotion, visit this station’s website for registration, game play, and the terms and conditions. Fill in the entry form by selecting the outcome of each game. Each correct pick will be worth 1 point. The player that earns the most points each week will be the weekly winner. The player that earns the most points during the season will be the season winner.  Any incorrect entries will receive 0 points. The  maximum point total for correctly determining the winning team in every game played during the designated season is 272. The maximum point total for each week is up to 16 points, depending on the number of teams with a bye that week. In case of a tie refer to the tiebreaker rules below.

Weekly Tiebreakers for prizes being given away each week that are NOT the national or local grand prize:

  • Weekly tiebreaker #1 – The player that correctly predicted the winning pick of the Tiebreaker Game is considered the winner of that week.
  • Weekly tiebreaker #2 – A Player’s predicted Tiebreaker Game score is compared to the actual Tiebreaker Game. The differences between the predicted scores and actual scores for each team are added. The entry with the smallest total difference is considered the winning entry.
  • Weekly tiebreaker #3 – A random draw between all remaining Entrants to determine the winner. In all cases, an entry that does not win a tiebreaker is eliminated from consideration.
  • Each week you will be asked to predict the score, of one or more game(s). The difference between the tiebreaker scores you choose each week and the actual final tie breaker game scores will be subtracted from 100 possible points, each week. The closer your picks are to the actual final scores, fewer points will be subtracted from the 100 possible points, each week, for each designated tiebreaker game. If weekly prizes are being given away and any ties exist, the best weekly tiebreaker score will be used to break any weekly ties. In case of any ties at the end of the season, the best overall cumulative tiebreaker score will be used to decide the Grand Prizer Winner.

  • Decisions of Audience, sponsors, and affiliates with respect to winner selection and the awarding of prizes are final and binding when made.

  • that the Federal Arbitration Act applies to this agreement, and if the parties are unable to resolve their dispute amicably, it shall be resolved by means of binding arbitration (not in a court of law);
  • that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Promotion, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action (even if the rules and procedures of the arbitration tribunal allow class arbitrations);

  • All games will use a rolling lock system which will allow players to make picks up to approximately 15 minutes prior to official kickoff time of each game.  Any selections submitted after the deadlines are considered invalid, and no points will be awarded. All times displayed on the schedule are Eastern. You may change your pick for any game up until the time that game is locked. Entries must be completed on time. Once a game is locked, you may not change your pick for it. If you did not make a pick for a particular game, it is counted as a loss. If you submit a partial entry and either forget or are unable to complete it, the games you did not pick will count as losses.
  • Entrants must provide truthful information when entering the Promotion; the Promotion Entities may reject and delete any entry found to be false or fraudulent, as determined by the Promotion Entities.
  • Entrants must submit all information required on the entry form, which may include first and last name, telephone number, email address, home address, and/or date of birth. Entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry.  The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning the email address or the domain associated with the submitted email address.  Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address.  Entries submitted will not be acknowledged or returned.  Use of any device to automate entry is prohibited.  Proof of submission of an entry shall not be deemed proof of receipt.

In the following rules, “106.9 The Fox” means Tidewater Communications, LLC, dba Tidewater Communications and its parent corporation, Saga Communications, Inc., which owns 106.9 The Fox radio:

  1. No purchase is necessary to enter any 106.9 The Fox contest.
  2. To be eligible to win any prize on 106.9 The Fox you must not have won anything on 106.9 The Fox in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.
  3. Anytime you call the 106.9 The Fox studios you assume that your call will be broadcast or recorded and you grant us permission to broadcast the call or record it for later broadcast.

Contestants must possess a valid form of identification bearing the picture of the contestant acceptable to 106.9 The Fox that will be presented to 106.9 The Fox and accepted before the prize is awarded. Employees of 106.9 The Fox, it's advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the 106.9 The Fox main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Winners will be expected to claim prize at the 106.9 The Fox studios, 870 Greenbrier Circle, Suite 399, Chesapeake, Virginia 23320, between 12:00pm – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) within 30 days of being notified that they are winners, unless there is an expiration date on prize, which will be specifically stated.

Where the prize(s) consists of paper tickets (“will-call tickets”) the winner will be directed to go to a specified address and retrieve the will-call tickets, and, by entering the contest, the contestant agrees to pick up will-call tickets and sign and deliver to 106.9 The Fox a waiver form as directed. Where the prize(s) consists of electronic (digital) concert or event tickets (“e-tickets”), the winner will receive an email from 106.9 The Fox with a hyperlink to an electronic waiver form that the winner must sign and return to the 106.9 The Fox before the prize will be transferred to the winner. The e-tickets will be transferred to the winner by 106.9 The Fox or, in some cases, by a third party (for example, Ticketmaster, Live Nation, etc.) and the winner must check his or her email account for an email or cellular mobile number for a text message from the ticket provider in order to download the e-tickets. Where e-tickets are a prize, as a condition of entering the contest, redeeming and using e-tickets requires the winner (i) to have a valid email address and an app-enabled mobile device capable of downloading and running a third-party mobile ticketing app (e.g., Ticketmaster, Live Nation, etc.); (ii) to install, or have already installed, such mobile ticketing app on their app-enabled mobile device; and (iii) to log into an existing user account or sign up for a free user account with the third-party operating such mobile ticketing app by completing a form with all required information, including, at a minimum, the winner's first name, last name, valid email address and telephone number.   14. 106.9 The Fox reserves the right to amend the rules to any contest at any time. 106.9 The Fox's decision is always final. In the event any one of the general contest rules which govern all 106.9 The Fox contests contradict with any specific contest term, the specific contest term will control.

  16. 106.9 The Fox shall have no responsibility for contestant’s inability or failure to participate, failure to win or claim any prize based on malfunction or difficulties with telephone, cell phone, texting, email, mobile applications, internet access, or any other circumstances in any contest beyond 106.9 The Fox’s control.

For any contest involving on-line voting: If an entrant receives irregular votes, including but not limited to, votes generated by a robotic, programmed, script, macro, or other automated means, 106.9 The Fox reserves the right to disqualify the entrant in its sole discretion and/or use another means to determine the winner(s), ex. – random selection or appointing a panel of judges.
  18. For any contests involving tickets to live performances or events, winners will need to follow all health and public safety guidelines and protocols put in place by the concert organizer.
  19. 106.9 The Fox is not responsible for any event cancellations or reschedules.

    • internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion
    • viruses
    • sabotage
    • satellite failures
    • phone line failures
    • electrical outages
    • natural or man-made disasters
    • lost, late, misdirected, postage-due, unintelligible, returned, or undelivered entries or email
    • lost, interrupted, or unavailable satellite, network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other internet connections, providers, or platforms
    • failed telephone, satellite or cable hardware or software or lines, or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions
    • computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures, or difficulties

    Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of this contest or website, or act in violation of the official service, as solely determined by the station, will be disqualified.
