Petty Officer First Class Chris Grau was nominated by his wife, who had the following to say about him: “Chris is an IS1 currently serving in the Navy with 11 years in so far. He’s an awesome husband and dad to our three kids (ages 4,7,8). We’ve been through countless ship underways, detachments and deployments. He literally is the hardest working person I know and will always support his shipmates in the process. Chris is so passionate about his work and always provides a good example. So thankful for our hero, Chris!”
