My Husband Staff Sergeant Bobka has 16 years in the Army and has been deployed to Iraq 3 times, once to Afghanistan and also to South Korea. As a leader in U.S. Army Aviation he and his Soldiers endured the harshest of environments such as, the deserts of Kuwait, Iraq and numerous locations throughout Afghanistan. During “Operation Enduring freedom”, he led Armament soldiers to load ordinance upon the Apache Attack Helicopter to answer back for the 911 attacks in the U.S.. He and his comrades aided in destroying the terrorist that want to infringe upon our American way of life. Furthermore, he is a wonderful husband and dad to our baby 2 year old girl and our 7 year old son. He is currently an Instructor at Fort Eustis teaching new Soldiers thier military occupational specialty as armament technician’s . He is also involved in volunteering and enjoys helping the local community every chance he can. He has been through a lot of hard times with the military but he still talks about how much he loves his country, the Army and his family and we are so proud of him.
