Petty Officer First Class Hannah Hanson was nominated by her husband Cody, who had the following to say about her: “My wife is currently stationed on the USS Eisenhower and just returned from their deployment to the Red Sea. As a prior service Marine and current dependent, the strength she displayed throughout this deployment has left no doubt in my mind of who my own personal hero is in this world. To have achieved what she has, all the while maintaining our home life as her number one priority, is something I will forever be grateful to the Lord for having her in my life.”
