Jeffrey Hill, US Navy (retired)

Jeffrey was nominated by his son, Chase:

My father, Jeffrey Hill, retired Navy Commander, currently serves as Vice President of USO World Operations. The USO (United Service Organizations) is a non-profit organization that provides programs, services and live entertainment to U.S. troops and their families. My father is accountable for providing operational oversight for all stateside USO centers. He is responsible for developing military events such as the annual Patriotic Festival down at the Virginia Beach oceanfront and supports military rehabilitation programs such as the cycling program “Ride 2 Recovery”. Prior to the USO he served as Executive Officer to the Commander of Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek, Va. He also served in numerous diving and salvage tours in the Navy, including command of the diving and salvage ship USS Grasp (ARS 51). I would like to honor him for his past and present military service.
