Not only is this man an amazing sailor (having received a NAM and having been a part of the ship featured in Captain Phillips), but he is an amazing husband and father as well. When our premature son was born, he made sure that everything was ready for him and myself when it was time to come home. Not once did he bat an eye in the face of adversity and our family will always be happy because of him and his hard work. When he comes home from work at the end of a very long day, he is still thrilled to see his son, wife and dog (even if we’re all covered in baby food).
