Commander Mark Rinschler was nominated by his wife Hollie, who had the following to say about him: “My husband joined the Navy July 18, 1990, and will be retiring after 34 years of Navy Service this year. He went through the enlisted ranks up to Chief and then was commissioned to Officer and will retire as a Commander. We are so proud of him and all he has accomplished during his time in the navy. We met while we were both stationed in Charleston and have been married 25 years. It was tough as a dual military family, but we made it work and our kids/family are better for it! With 34 years of service, he has done so much, mentored so many, helped so many in their careers, stationed at many commands, held many positions, and has been a wonderful husband, dad, son, brother and friend. We are proud of you and cannot wait to have you home and to start our next chapter as a navy retired family. Thank you for ALL you do, for everyone you know! I nominate my husband because he deserves to be recognized for all he has done in his many years of service to our country.”
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE. MARK!
