Military Hero

Michael was nominated by his wife Erica: My husband has served this country for almost 22 years. He has made so many sacrifices during those years including missing his daughter's first steps, first words, his son's drill meets, and countless birthdays, anniversaries and holidays. He has lived in Japan, all over the USA, and has served in Afghanistan. He spent 4 years training recruits to become the next set of qualified Sailors. Every single one of his superiors speaks of him so highly and with so much respect. He is a great dad and wonderful husband and makes me proud every single day. He finally retires this year and being the Sailor of the Week would be so cool to add to his list of achievements!
