“Mike has been in the Navy almost 19 years and has been an outstanding role model ever since. He was currently diagnosed with some health issues and still shows up for his junior sailors, which really shows his character. There are many who deserve this recognition, but I feel he is definitely among the top who do. He has proven what a model sailor/chief should look like and has been the perfect person for junior sailors to learn from.”
“My husband has been honorably serving for 17 years♡ He is the most dedicated father, husband, sailor and friend. I can not express my absolute appreciation for all the sacrifices he makes day in and day out for our family. He’s missed countless birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas’s, holidays, family events, school plays, graduations and the birth of our youngest son. “My dad, Timothy Seekins, is a very hard working man! He made a wonderful career in the military and moved up ranks from enlisted to Chief Petty Officer. He is a chef and started (and finished) in the military as a chef. He loves his family and is there if you ask him to help with anything. He works as a letter carrier for the USPS currently and will be retiring within the next 2 years. He pushes his family to work hard and strive for what they want in life. He is teaching my 13 year old son how to cook now since my son has an interest in being a chef as well. His favorite genre is Classic Rock and he listens to 106.9 everyday while on his route delivering mail!”

“Chief Petty Officer Samantha Burrell enlisted in the navy 9 years ago hailing from Connecticut, she was one of 8 Children in her family, SO family is very important to her. She just returned from a deployment on the USS Geraldo R. Ford CVN78. Where she lead a division of Fire control man. She met the love of her life Zach, they together have Twin Boys who are 2 years. Zach has two other sons she has stepped up and is raising as her own. Sam has also step up to be a guardian of a 17 year old. She is a wonderful mother and Great sailor. I nominate her because of her loyal devotion to duty and her family.”

“Matthew is such an amazing guy always there for his family and friends and also so many kids that are not his!! He is always helping out where needed!! Always going the extra mile even though his own kids are not on the team he could be found out in the weather coaching softball for Coastal Crush. Treating every player as if they were his own. He has had so many deployments since he married my niece but no matter how far he is he always makes her feel special while missing important moments! He also treats his stepchildren as if they are his own and don’t even get me started on his own daughter. But he also teaches them all respect and responsibility. He also steps up in his career too even playing Santa this year to make sure all the kids felt all the love when Santa needed some helpers since we all know he can’t be everywhere at once!! He definitely deserves to your FM99 military hero!!”
“Adam joined the Air Force in 2001 and was stationed at Mt Home AFB in Idaho working the F-15C Eagle during the terrorists attacks that launched our country into a two decade war on terrorism. Since then he has selflessly served nearly 23 years all around the globe to include South Korea and multiple deployments to Afghanistan. He still proudly serves and is a proud husband and Father to two kids.”
