Staff sergeant Patrick W. Luley was nominated by his wife Brenda, who had the following to say about him: “SSG Patrick W. Luley was born August 10, 1983 in Petoskey, MI. He entered the Missouri Army National Guard on November 22, 2000 in Saint Louis, MO. He graduated Army Basic Training at Fort Sill, OK on August 10, 2001, his 18th birthday. This set him on his way to become a well-decorated serviceman in many different capacities.
