ATC Chief Petty Officer Ross Stowers was nominated by his wife Dawna, who had the following to say about him: “My husband is the most dedicated, hard working and selfless man I have ever met. He will never fully understand how proud I am of all that he does and what he provides for his family and his sailors.
He works hard for the Navy and then comes home to be a little league coach for our son, he is also a board member for the little league to try and help improve the league (which is already great) and lake sure that the community has value as well. He never seems to get the recognition he deserves and as much as we try no amount of admiration will ever be enough to convey the love and appreciation we have for him. There is no one better.
ATC Stowers is a proud member of the US NAVY but an even more proud father and husband. The dedication and balance he shows to his career and Homelife are unmatched. Ross has served in the military for over 16 years and plans to make this his career and retire from active duty. Stowers has accomplished so much throughout his career and we couldn’t be more proud of his ambition to continue to achieve more.
Daughter – Zoey (13), Son- Mason (11) are the center of his world. Everything he does is undoubtedly for them. The love he has for his children and his wife is amazing. Ross is currently away training for the upcoming deployment and we cannot wait for his return.
He is an incredible man, well rounded, loved, dedicated and caring… even a little spotlight might embarrass him BUT he deserves an entire ceremony in his honor if you ask me.”
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE, ROSS!
