Chief Petty Officer Ryan Ross was nominated by his mother-in-law Cinda, who had the following to say about him: “Today, National Armed Forces Day, I’d like to nominate my son-in-law Ryan Ross. He has been in the Navy for 18 years, currently at Chief Petty Officer at Norfolk Naval Station and is a wonderful husband and father to my two grandkids. He joined up right out of high school with the plan to best support his future family. For a guy from a very small town in Kansas, he has been able to travel all over the world with his deployments and take care of his family. At National Armed Forces Day I say thank to all those currently serving and those that have served our great United States. Thank you.”
