Seth was nominated by his friend Damien Spain:
Seth and I went to Middle School and High School together, served in our local church together, and we actually are roommates together right now. Ever since I’ve known Seth, he has wanted to be a Marine. So much so that just two months after graduating High School, Seth left for bootcamp where he excelled; quickly becoming squad leader. After graduating from boot camp and faithfully serving for two years, Seth found out what he wanted to do in the civilian world; law enforcement. He is currently working in the Norfolk City Jail as a sheriff deputy and he hopes to become a police officer in our area in the future. I’ve always been inspired by Seth’s desire to answer the call of service, and how he’s willing to do what it takes to make a difference in our community; this is why I think that Seth should be the FM99 hero of the week.
