Firefighter Petty Officer 3rd Class William Rowlands was nominated by his friend Melissa, who had the following to say about him: “One thing for sure about this man he sure loves this radio station! He is hardworking and dedicated. Always goes above and beyond of what’s asked of him. He is honorable and such a true gentleman. I’m proud to call him my friend and anybody would be lucky to have him as one themselves. I’m honored to know he is part of the Navy that watches over our country and ensures our safety.”
