Fort Eustis to host rededication, time capsule ceremony.
In conjunction with its 100th anniversary celebration, Fort Eustis is scheduled to host a rededication ceremony, as well as pay tribute to the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War, at 9 a.m., May 11. On March 19, 1918, the War Department authorized construction of Camp Abraham Eustis, in honor of Brevet Brigadier General Abraham Eustis. The ceremony will commemorate the installation’s 100 years of operations.
