NAVSUP BSC provides the Navy with information systems support through the design, development, and maintenance of information systems in the functional areas of logistics, supply chain management, transportation, finance, and accounting and is one of 11 commands under Commander, NAVSUP.
7th Fleet is the U.S. Navy‘s largest forward-deployed numbered fleet, and routinely interacts and operates with allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
John Finn is assigned to Commander, Task Force 71/Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th fleet’s principal surface force.
McKenzie joined the Navy nearly eight years ago. Today, McKenzie serves as an information systems technician. “I joined the Navy because I wanted to see the world and I knew serving would offer that opportunity,” said McKenzie.

“Serving in the Navy means a handful of different things to me,” said Johnson. “It ensures that my wife and kids are provided with anything they need on a daily basis. Secondly, each day that I successfully do my job in the Navy is another day my family and fellow citizens can sleep in peace knowing their freedom is protected. Lastly, serving in the Navy means I get the chance to get better every day. I am never sitting idle. I strive to be better each day.”

“I have grown up around many high-ranking officers and they served as excellent role models,” said Lyon. “They modeled how I should conduct myself in the Navy. For example, my best friend’s dad was an admiral who was very professional, squared away and a great person to look up to overall.”
“I am most proud of being responsible for the pilot’s safety,” said Zhen. “It’s my job to make sure their equipment is good to go.”
