Driving south on Greenbrier Parkway on Thursday, September 12 just after 8pm I saw a fireball in the sky. I couldn’t find any stories about it and I only knew of one other person who saw it. I put the call out on the radio if anyone knew anything about it and you came through with a lot of information!
There’s a website called AMSmeteors that has a report about the fireball. It appears it was visible here in Virginia and North Carolina and heading towards Morehead City. Here’s some video of what it looked like in North Carolina.
