It’s Fat Tuesday, but in Detroit it’s Packzi Day! A day where a lot of Polish pastries are consumed. Sweet than donuts and full of jelly, these items have been a long tradition in my family, in face my brother sent some from Michigan to me in the mail.
Occasionally you’ll see a box of Packzi’s in a couple of stores around here, but there’s nothing like the real thing from the D.
