This summer Rush went on the R40 tour to mark Neil Peart’s 40 years with the band. Today he hangs up his drum sticks. In a recent interview with Drumhead Magazine Neil said, “And it does not pain me to realize that, like all athletes, there comes a time to… take yourself out of the game.”
This may mean that Rush the band is no more as Alex Lifeson has hinted that the future of the band was left up to the world’s greatest drummer.
