Legendary guitarist and singer for Ten Years After, Alvin Lee passed away today at the age of 68. According to Alvin’s official website: “With great sadness we have to announce that Alvin unexpectedly passed away early this morning after unforseen complications following a routine surgical procedure.
“We have lost a wonderful and much loved father and companion, the world has lost a truly great and gifted musician.”
Ten Year’s After played Woodstock, which featured their performance of I’m Going Home (shown below) and a few years later the band scored a monster hit with I’d Love to Change the World. Check out some great performances that feature Alvin.
