Robert Plant released a new album this week called lullaby… and the Ceaseless Roar. If you happened to catch Plant on tour last year you would have heard a different sound for him and the album differently captured the sound of world music. There are some rock elements in there but this journey is even different for him. Some of my favorite tracks from the album are “Turn It Up:, “Somebody There” and “House of Love”. Don’t expect Led Zeppelin when you buy this album, it’s not and that what makes this album great. Nice to see Robert keep trying to one up himself every time he puts out a new album.
If you wondered does he still rock the Zeppelin tunes in concert. He does.
